Relevant work experience and how it relates to Toastmasters and your role as a District Leader:
My experience as a teacher is very much related and comes handy in dealing and accommodating the fellow toastmasters ,navigating their journey in a supportive and felicitated ,celebrated environment. As i already been taking up leadership responsibility at club level ,that i feel will also
help me to serve as Division Director role.
What experience do you have in strategic planning?:
My experience in strategic planning involves a blend of analysis, creativity, collaboration, and adaptability, clear communication, resource management, and careful tracking. Strategic planning is crucial in defining an organization’s direction and making decisions on allocating resources to pursue the strategy. It encompasses analyzing the current situation, setting clear objectives, and creating a roadmap for achieving long-term goals.
What experience do you have in the area of finance?:
My experience in finance has allowed me to work across multiple areas, including budgeting. Finance plays a central role in guiding organizations toward success. My ability to manage resources effectively, mitigate risks, and drive value through strategic financial planning is a skill that I have been honed over time through both hands-on work and continuous learning.
What experience do you have in developing procedures?:
My experience in developing procedures has spanned various areas, starting with a clear understanding of the procedure’s purpose. It involves creating a detailed flowchart for easy identification of inefficiencies or potential bottlenecks. Throughout my experience, I’ve learned that it’s crucial to keep procedures concise while including enough detail for users to follow without confusion or oversight.
What lessons did you learn from previous leadership positions?:
My leadership experiences have taught me that effective leadership is a combination of clear communication, empathy, adaptability, and decision-making. Being able to motivate, guide, and inspire a team while also holding them accountable is both a privilege and a responsibility. Leadership is not just about directing others; it’s about being present, fostering growth, and creating an environment where people can thrive. These lessons, shaped me to continue my approach to leadership, and they are the key to achieving sustainable success .
Why do you want to serve as a District leader?:
I am already serving as an Area director presently, so it is a natural progression for me to Serve a more broader audience as a District director . I would be more than happy and willing to challenge myself and will feel privileged to help support my fellow colleagues in their TMI journey.
In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?:
Objectives are to develop and directs programs for new club development, club rescue efforts, club membership promotion, and membership retention. Responsible for achieving Distinguished District goals for membership and club growth. Promotes standards of service to the member and to the club. I would work to achieve them ,with my colleagues ,utilizing the available resources, strategic planning and fostering a culture of support and excellence.
Additional Information about yourself:
i am a seasoned educator ,having a vast teaching experience in a multinational setting ,dealing with all kinds of students ,teachers and fellow staff members.
