With over 23 years of diverse clinical, academic, and leadership experience, my professional journey has been rooted in excellence and a passion for mentorship.

Starting as a Resident Dental Doctor, I transitioned into a Research Associate role, further enhancing my academic perspective. My postgraduate studies at the WHO-affiliated University of Helsinki, Finland, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Pediatric Dentistry from the University of London, UK, equipped me with advanced clinical and research skills.
Serving as a Senior House Officer (SHO) at Cumberland Infirmary & West Cumberland Hospitals under the NHS Trust strengthened my capacity for teamwork and leadership in high-pressure environments.
Currently, as a Pediatric Dentist with the Ministry of Health, Kuwait, I have consistently received “EXCELLENT” appraisals for 14 consecutive years. My commitment extends beyond patient care to the training of dental graduates from renowned universities across Europe, the UK, USA, Egypt, Jordan, and Kuwait. This dedication to fostering talent aligns with my Toastmasters leadership roles, where I apply my mentorship skills, organizational expertise, and cross-cultural communication abilities to inspire and empower teams.

My extensive experience across clinical, academic, and leadership roles has honed my strategic planning abilities.

As a Research Associate and postgraduate student at the WHO-affiliated University of Helsinki and the University of London, I developed and executed research methodologies, contributing to impactful healthcare outcomes.
During my tenure as a Senior House Officer (SHO) at Cumberland Infirmary & West Cumberland Hospitals under the NHS Trust, I collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement patient-centered treatment strategies, balancing efficiency and quality.
Currently, as a Pediatric Dentist at the Ministry of Health, Kuwait, I have successfully strategized the clinical training of dental graduates from globally recognized universities, ensuring alignment with ministry standards and fostering excellence.
My role involves planning comprehensive mentorship programs, optimizing resources, and conducting performance evaluations, which have consistently earned me 14 consecutive “EXCELLENT” ratings.

My experience in the area of finance stems from managing resources effectively in various leadership roles and clinical settings. As the President of Mangaf Communicators Toastmasters Club (District 20) and Sergeant at Arms for Eloquent Elites TMC (District 98), I have been responsible for budget allocation, financial planning, and ensuring cost-effective operations for club activities. These roles have required me to oversee event budgets, manage membership dues, and ensure transparency in financial reporting.

In my tenure as Vice President Membership and Vice President Public Relations for Mangaf Communicators TMC, I developed strategies to optimize membership growth and retention, balancing financial considerations with the club’s goals. Initiatives included creating cost-effective campaigns and ensuring sustainable revenue streams through membership fees and sponsorships.
Additionally, as a Pediatric Dentist at the Ministry of Health, Kuwait, I have contributed to resource planning and allocation in a clinical setting, ensuring that training programs for dental graduates remain financially viable while maintaining high-quality standards. This involved managing resources for equipment, training materials, and staff, aligning financial priorities with institutional goals.

In my role as a Pediatric Dentist at the Ministry of Health, Kuwait, I developed and implemented standardized training procedures for dental graduates from universities across Europe, the UK, USA, Egypt, Jordan, and Kuwait. These procedures were designed to ensure consistency in clinical skill development, adherence to Ministry protocols, and alignment with international best practices. I want to serve as a District leader to give back to the Toastmasters community that has significantly shaped my personal and professional growth.

This role provides a platform to inspire and empower members, guide clubs toward excellence, and foster a culture of collaboration and inclusivity.
Leveraging my experience in strategic planning, mentorship, and event organization, I aim to address challenges effectively, drive initiatives, and create opportunities for sustainable success.
By building strong teams and promoting innovation, I hope to contribute to the District’s legacy while further developing my own leadership abilities and making a lasting, positive impact.

In your opinion, what are the District mission’s major objectives and how would you work to achieve them?:
The District mission’s major objectives are to: 1. Build new clubs to expand the reach of Toastmasters, 2. Support all clubs in achieving excellence and providing a high-quality member experience, 3. Empower members to develop communication and leadership skills, enabling personal and professional growth.
